(More customer reviews)I haven't actually read this book as it was a gift for my oldest daughter. My son goes to Baylor where the author is an English professor and my daughter is a Christian counseling major at UT and the biggest 20 year old Harry Potter fan in the world. We got this for her for Christmas in the hopes that my son would have time to track down the professor at Baylor and have it autographed...while that didn't work out, his sister thoroughly enjoyed the book. She said it brought a whole new perspective to the books for her and that she may go back and reread the books for the ?? time with these new thoughts on the story and writing style. I think everyone who criticizes the HP books for witchcraft and wizardry should read this book and see that yes, that's the surface story but underneath is a beautiful Christian message not to be missed.
